Notification

Introduction

Notifications are sent automatically by the system for events such as a Job Assignment being submitted/approved/confirmed, a Work Order being reported/verified/completed, a ticket assignment, a new ticket comment, a ticket status change, and a summary of expiring warranties.

Prerequisites

  • A stable internet connection.
  • An active account already signed in to the system.

Step-by-Step Guide

Viewing Notifications

Goal: monitor recent events relevant to you.

Steps

  1. Open the Notification list. Unread notifications are marked with a slightly darker background and a blue dot.
  2. Click the notification bell icon in the application header to see the number of unread notifications.
  3. Click a notification to mark it as read. If that notification relates to a specific page, you will be redirected there.

Expected Result: you can see recent events and jump directly to the related page from a relevant notification.

Marking Notifications as Read

Goal: manage notifications' read status without having to open them one by one.

Steps

  1. To mark a single notification, click Mark as read on an unread notification (this button only appears for unread notifications).
  2. To mark all notifications at once, click Mark all as read (this button only appears if there are unread notifications).

Expected Result: the marked notifications no longer show as unread, and the count on the bell icon decreases accordingly.

Deleting a Notification

Goal: clean up notifications that are no longer needed.

Steps

  1. On the target notification, click Delete.

Expected Result: that notification no longer appears on the Notification list.

This availability depends on the system administrator's configuration — contact your administrator to confirm whether this feature is active.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

Question/IssueSolution
The Mark as read button doesn't appear on a notification. This button only appears for notifications still in an unread state. If a notification no longer shows a blue dot, it's already read.
The count on the bell icon doesn't match what I see in the list.Open the Notification list to refresh the view — the bell icon counts notifications that are still unread.
