Introduction
The User page shows the list of system login accounts. New accounts are usually created via the Create Login Account option when adding/editing data on the Employee page — this page is used to view and edit existing accounts.
Prerequisites
- A stable internet connection.
- An active account with permission (permission) to manage User data.
Step-by-Step Guide
Viewing the User List
Goal: find the login account you're looking for.
Steps
- Open the User page. The list shows columns for name and email.
- Use the search box to search by name.
Expected Result: the user list whose name matches your search keyword is displayed.
Adding / Editing a User
Goal: create a new user account directly, or update an existing account's data.
Steps
- Click the Add User button, or choose the Edit action on an existing account.
- Fill in the Name field.
- Fill in the Email field (optional).
- Fill in the Username field.
- Click Save.
Note: this form doesn't cover password or role — password is set when the account is created from the Employee page or via the Update Password action, and role is managed on the Role page.
Expected Result: the user account data is saved and visible on the User list.
Deleting a User
Goal: delete a user account that's no longer needed.
Steps
- On the target user row, click the Delete action.
- Confirm the deletion on the dialog that appears.
Warning: the Delete action is permanent. Make sure you've chosen the correct account before confirming.
Expected Result: the user account is deleted and no longer appears on the User list.
Troubleshooting / FAQ
| Question/Issue | Solution |
|---|---|
| I want to change a user's password or role, but there's no field for it on the Edit form. | The User form only changes Name, Email, and Username. Change password via the Update Password action on the Employee page, and change the role on the Role page. |
| I need to block a user, but I can't find the button. | The block/unblock user feature isn't available in the application interface yet. |
