Introduction

This page holds the Unit (unit of measure) master data — e.g. pcs, meter, unit — used to describe item quantities on a Warranty Claim line.

Prerequisites

  • A stable internet connection.
  • An active account with permission to manage Unit data.

Step-by-Step Guide

Viewing Unit Data

Goal: view the list of units available in the system.

Steps:

  1. Open the Unit page. The list shows a name column.

Note: search isn't available on this page.

Expected Result: all unit data displays in the list.

Adding Unit Data

Goal: add new unit data to the system.

Steps:

  1. Click Add New.
  2. Fill in the Name field.
  3. Click Save.

Expected Result: the new unit appears on the Unit list.

Editing Unit Data

Goal: update existing unit data.

Steps:

  1. Choose the unit you want to change, then click Edit.
  2. Change the Name field.
  3. Click Save.

Expected Result: the unit data in the list is updated per your saved changes.

Deleting Unit Data

Goal: delete unit data that's no longer needed.

Steps:

  1. Choose the unit you want to delete, then click Delete.
  2. Read the confirmation dialog that appears.
  3. Click the confirm button to permanently delete the data.

Warning: deleted unit data can't be restored.

Expected Result: the unit is deleted from the list.
