Role

Introduction

The Role page manages permissions per role. The available roles are fixed (determined by the system): Super Admin, Admin, Head of Department, Supervisor, and Technician — roles can't be added or removed from the application interface.

Glossary

  • Permission (Hak Akses) — determines which menus and actions a role can use. Managed on the Permission Setting page.

Prerequisites

  • A stable internet connection.
  • An active account with permission (permission) to manage Role.

Step-by-Step Guide

Setting Permissions per Role

Goal: enable or disable specific permissions for a role.

Steps

  1. Choose a role from the dropdown.
  2. Review the list of permissions shown, grouped by module/entity (each as its own card). Use the permission search box if you need to find a specific permission.
  3. Check or uncheck the permissions you want.
  4. Click Save Changes to apply, or click Discard Changes to revert the permissions to their previous state.

Warning: the Super Admin role's permissions can't be changed — every checkbox is shown disabled (read-only) for this role.

Note: if there are unsaved changes and you try to switch roles or leave the page, the system shows a confirmation warning so changes aren't lost unintentionally.

Expected Result: the checked/unchecked permissions are saved for the chosen role, and apply to every user with that role.
